Costume designer Pierre-Yves Gayraud done by hand, using first class materials, shows the elegance of character.
Pierre-Yves Gayraud, is known as one of the "golden hands on costumes," not only of France but also Hollywood cinema. Some films do you take on costume design as part of The Three Musketeers, Coco Chanel (TV series), Mr Bean's Holiday, The Bourne Identity, Cloud Atlas ... Gayraud is responsible for performing all the costumes for the film Beauty and the Beast, 2004 edition.
The designer revealed: "I have to ensure the movie's historical elements, while keeping the legendary quality and special style by director Christophe Gans. When they invited me to participate in this project, I know there are two historical periods to understand ourselves to design costumes for really precise: it was the first Empire and the Renaissance. "Perform full time costumes only two months. Gayraud look up skirts in a sewing factory in Paris, then moved to Berlin to complete filming.
